<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To treat organic matter in leachate by equipment of a simple configuration without using an advanced biological treatment method, e.g. an activated sludge method, a contact aeration method, a rotary disk method, a support method and a membrane separation activated sludge method, and also treat waste by utilizing the leachate water. <P>SOLUTION: The equipment includes a stone-piled filter bed 2 composed of a filtrating medium in which an aerobic biomembrane is produced on the surface and having a waste layer R formed above the filter bed, a collecting-and-draining pipe 3 collecting water generated in the waste layer R and passing the water through the stone-piled filter bed 2 and draining it out of the stone-piled filter bed 2, an aeration portion 32 aerating below the stone-piled filter bed 2 and a sprinkling pipe 5 sprinkling the drained water from the collecting-and-draining pipe 3 on the waste layer R. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
