PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronizer ring having specially enhanced operation certainty. SOLUTION: The radial inner surface (4) of the synchronizer ring particularly for a transmission device for an automobile includes a ring body (2) having a strip friction lining (3). Two ends (8) of the friction lining (3) are spaced from each other in a circumferential direction (6). The friction lining (3) is fixed to a ring body (2) at a plurality of weld points (10) spaced from one another in the circumferential direction (6). The two ends (8) have end edges (12) respectively inclined with respect to an axial direction (5), and each end region (9) has a pointed end (13) projected in the circumferential direction (6).
