PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat back table device having a simple construction for absorbing the shock of a back table, resulting in improved durability. SOLUTION: The back table 2 arranged on the back side of a seat 1 has a table supporting arm 3 turnably journaled to the seat 1. A shock absorbing device 4 absorbs shock when the table supporting arm 3 falls down from a rising position to a backward inclined working position. The shock absorbing device 4 includes a fluid pressure damper 6, a transmitting member 7 located on the front end side of a piston rod 6a of the fluid pressure damper 6 for abutting on the front end thereof, and a guide part 8 for guiding the transmitting member 7 in a sliding direction S1 as a moving direction K1 of the piston rod 6a. On the other hand, the table supporting arm 3 has a thrust part 3a for thrusting a transmitting member front end 7a of the transmitting member 7 opposite to the side of the piston rod 6a, toward the side of the piston rod 6a.
