CELL MEASUREMENT METHOD AND DEVICE IN MULTI-CARRIER SYSTEM

A cell measurement method and device in multi-carrier system. The method includes: configuring measurement carrier of a cell, establishing an adjacent cell measurement carrier table according to measurement carrier of each adjacent cell of the cell; while cell measurement is needed, measuring the measurement carrier of the adjacent cell by terminal according to the established adjacent cell measurement carrier table, completing cell measurement. The device includes: carrier configuration module, carrier table configuration module, carrier measurement module. The configuration module is used to select a part of carrier in the cell as measurement carrier (201); the carrier table configuration module is used to configure and establish the adjacent cell measurement carrier table according to the cell measurement carrier information of each adjacent cell (202); the carrier measurement module is used to measure the measurement carrier of the adjacent cell in turn and obtain measurement result according to the configured adjacent cell measurement carrier table (203).
