SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR COMMUNICATION IN WIRELESS LOCAL AREA NETWORK

PURPOSE: A communication system at a wireless local area network and a method thereof are provided to select the back off, in other words, the delay time by decentralizing each nodes. CONSTITUTION: A channel monitor unit(603) decides the new start time point of the back off counting. A representative back off slot decision unit(605) decides the back off with virtual slot unit according to the decision result of the new start time point of the back off counting by the channel monitor unit. A back off counter unit(607) counts the back off pitching with the representative back off slot decision unit. A data transmission unit transmits data to the channel according to the dormant state of channel at point of back off time by the back off counter unit. By grouping time slots comprising the back off window section the virtual slot is formed.
