<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braided-wire toroidal coil suppressing an increase of copper loss in a high frequency. <P>SOLUTION: The braided-wire toroidal coil includes a ring-shaped bobbin (11) made of a resin and a braided wire (13) toroidally wound through between ribs (12) of the bobbin (11). The braided wire (13) is regulated into a flat shape so as to constitute an edgewise winding by the ribs (12) on an internal circumference side of the bobbin (11). In the braided-wire toroidal coil, skin effect and proximity effect between wires in a high frequency can be reduced, an increase of copper loss in a high frequency can be suppressed, a thickness of the ribs can be reduced, and an inexpensive resin can be used.
