PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump type hot water heating device having a high heat insulting effect and capable of easily mounting and demounting components. SOLUTION: The heat pump type hot water heating device includes a water heat exchanger 3 receiving a refrigerant supplied from a heat pump device 1 and exchanging heat with water to produce hot water, a heater unit 10 incorporating a heater 9 for further heating the hot water produced by the water heat exchanger 3, a cistern tank 11 absorbing expansion water and replenishing liquid, and a circulation pump 12 supplying the hot water to a radiator 13 disposed at a separated place. The water heat exchanger 3 is circularly wound and received in a storage groove 17 formed at an outer periphery of a lower heat insulating material 16, the heater unit 10 is received at a central part of the lower heat insulating material 16, furthermore, an upper heat insulating material 18 receiving the cistern tank 11 at its one side is placed on the lower heat insulating material 16, and the whole periphery is covered by an outer frame 19 and placed on the heat pump device 1, thus the high heat insulating effect can be achieved, the components can be easily mounted and demounted, and assembling and repair/replacement can be easily performed.
