PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guide a vehicle so as to cause a toll to be discounted without setting a destination when the vehicle travels on a toll road. SOLUTION: A navigation apparatus predicts the travel road on which the vehicle travels (step S10). The navigation apparatus determines whether the to-be-discounted toll road whose toll is discounted in response to a time zone is included in the predicted travel road (step S20). As a result of the determination, when the to-be-discounted toll road is included in the travel road, it determines whether a vehicle guide is needed so as to cause the toll to be discounted (step S60).
