<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna that has excellent characteristics (frequency characteristics and directivity) and can be installed in a small space. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The antenna includes: a base material 81 made of insulating material and formed in a rectangular plate shape; a first conductive element 85 provided on one surface of the base material 81 on one end side in the longitudinal direction of the base material 81; a second conductive element 87 provided on one surface of the base material 81 apart from the first conductive element 85 on the other end side in the longitudinal direction of the base material 81; and a coaxial cable 89 with an inside conductor 91 connected to the first conductive element 85 and an outside conductor 93 connected to the second conductive element 87, which extends from one end in the longitudinal direction of the base material 81 to the longitudinal direction of the base material 81.
