<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image data processor capable of efficiently performing one expansion processing and the other expansion processing by one expansion circuit. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The image data processor 21 is configured so as to divide image data for one page of an original inputted by an inputting means with predetermined bandwidth and process the image data in a band unit. Consequently, even an image data processor 21 for performing DMA cooperation can perform expansion processing of prescribed encoded image data that is encoded in advance between expansion processing of the image data for one band and expansion processing of the next image data for one band to be expanded.
