The present invention provides a secondary battery pack, comprising: a battery cell having a battery case in which an electrode assembly having an anode/separation film/cathode structure is sealed together with an electrolyte; an insulating member which has an opening for exposing the electrode terminals of the battery cell, on which a safety element is mounted, and which directly and tightly contacts the top surface of the battery cell; and an insulating cap which covers the insulating member equipped with the safety element, and which is coupled onto the top surface of the battery cell. The battery case has a top surface with a coupling groove, and the insulating cap has a bottom surface with a coupling protrusion having a shape matching the coupling groove. The coupling protrusion is inserted into the coupling groove to reinforce the coupling of the insulating cap to the battery cell.
