发明名称 A METHOD FOR REMOVING CRACKS USING GPU IN QUAD-TREE BASED TERRAIN RENDERING
摘要 PURPOSE: A method for removing cracks using GPU in a quad-tree based terrain rendering is provided to determine a MIP map level corresponding to a maximum value as the MIP map level of a peak point in which a crack generates. CONSTITUTION: A MIP map level of a block is obtained by using a level texture for a peak point in which a crack happens(S10), and the MIP levels of adjacent blocks are obtained by using the level texture for the peak point(S20). The MIP map level corresponding to the maximum value among the obtained MIP levels is determined as the MIP map level of the peak point(S30). An elevation value is read out in the determined MIP map level to set the elevation value for the peak point(S40).
