PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for compression molding in which a homogeneous compression molded article without a pore defect or density fluctuation is surely obtained, by more efficiently exhausting a gas inside of the compression molded article during molding, when the compression molding is carried out using a die, upper punch, and lower punch. SOLUTION: The mold for powder compression molding is provided with a die 1 having a through-hole 1a, and upper punch 2 and lower punch 3, in which a cavity C is formed in the through-hole 1a by moving the upper punch 2 and lower punch 3 in an up-and-down direction, respectively, raw material powder is held in the formed cavity C, and the raw material powder is compressed by moving the upper punch 2 and lower punch 3 close to each other, to mold the compression molded article. The mold for powder compression molding is used, in which at least one exhaust hole 4 leading to outside of the die 1 from an inner wall of the through-hole 1a is formed in the die 1, in order to exhaust a gas which remains in the cavity C when the raw material powder is compressed.
