PURPOSE: A transmission service providing method is provided to transmit a long message using the public switched telephone network of the telephone magnifying the service area of PSTN. CONSTITUTION: A transmission service providing system offers an LMS(Long Message Service) service through a bidirectional FSK(Frequency Shift Keying) signal on a PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network, 21). A CPE(Customer Premises Equipment, 20) is connected through the PSTN or the ISDN circuit of the customer house inside. An ILMC(Interactive Long Message Service Center, 22) is connected on the PSTN network and No.7 signaling. A new LMS protocol is respectively mounted in the CPE and the ILMC.
