<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a conventional pulse compression radar system applies multi-PRF ranging and FM ranging because range ambiguity exists in an HPRF mode and an MPRF mode, and has the deterioration of a scan speed or a limit of range precision. <P>SOLUTION: A pulse compression radar system uniquely specifies a range by applying inter-pulse phase modulation by applying signal modulation at the same time as in-pulse phase modulation for pulse compression in the HPRF mode and the MPRF mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
