<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the manufacturing method of an absorbent article, which easily copes with the various sizes of absorbent articles when arranging configuration members such as a side flap and a crotch part on a plurality of webs to be conveyed in an alignment state in the width direction of the webs, and also to provide the manufacturing device of the absorbent article. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the absorbent article includes: a web conveyance process for conveying a front waistline web 11A and a rear waistline web 11B in an alignment state in the width direction of the webs 11; a flap adhesion process for making the side flap 30 adhere onto the web 11 of the front waistline web 11A or the rear waistline web 11B; a web interval change process for changing an interval between the front waistline web 11A and the rear waistline web 11B by web interval change mechanisms 500; and a crotch member adhesion process for making the crotch part 20 adhere to a part between the front waistline web 11A and the rear waistline web 11B.
