<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small coil component having a small direct current resistance in which no short circuit occurs between a lead-out part and an adjacent ring part. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The coil component including a plurality of the ring parts 17 composed of a metal plate in which a cut-off part 16 is formed and on the surface of which an insulating layer 20 is formed, a ring connection part 18 formed on the edge part of the ring part 17 for linking the plurality of ring parts 17, a lead-out part 13 connected to the edge of the ring part 17 without linkage to the edge part of the ring part 17 and provided with the insulating layer 20 on the surface thereof, and a terminal part 14 connected to the lead-out part 13, wherein the plurality of ring parts 17 are formed by being overlapped vertically and bent at the ring connection part 18, and the lead-out part 13 includes a concave part 19 bent away from the outer circumference periphery 21 of the adjacent ring part 17.
