PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To freely adjust the contrast in a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus and to display images with the same contrast among different apparatuses. SOLUTION: A conversion table for converting pixel values to present the contrast of another apparatus is prepared, and stored in a conversion table database 111, A conversion table application part 114 applies the conversion table determined by a conversion table determining part 105, so that the display with the same contrast as in the other apparatus is possible. The conversion table is created by a conversion table database creating part 116 based on a previously acquired image database 115 for each apparatus and imaging condition or based on a simulation image based on the vertical relaxation time (T1) or horizontal relaxation time (T2) for each apparatus or tissue.
