<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt fixing device suppresses peeling of an image. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This belt fixing device at least includes: a heating roll 51 and a pressure roll 54 rotationally driven; an endless fixing belt 50 which is stretched over a plurality of rotary rolls including the heating roll and the pressure roll and rotates; a cooling member (heat sink 56) which is provided between the heating roll and a rotation body 1 which is provided in the downstream of rotational direction of a fixing belt from the heating roll and cools the fixing belt from the inside; and a toner amount control means (toner amount changing device 500) which changes the toner amount so that the toner amount at the end of the image region which is fixed on a recording medium (print sheet P) with the heating roll, the pressure roll and the fixing belt, is higher than the toner amount at the non-end of the image region.
