In a machine tool (10) provided with a first main spindle (23) and a second main spindle (26), a dummy head (W2) having an opening is mounted to a cylinder block (W1) using a bolt, a tool for the bolt, which is used to remove the bolt, is mounted to the first main spindle (23), a honing tool (T2) for honing the cylinder block (W1) is mounted to the second main spindle (26), the dummy head (W2) is mounted to the cylinder block (W1) using the tool for the bolt, a tool mounted to the first main spindle (23) is replaced with a cutting tool (T1) for cutting the cylinder block (W1), and the cylinder block (W1) is worked, through the opening in the dummy head (W2), using the cutting tool (T1) and the honing tool (T2).</p> |
