The bushing (100) has an upper part (110) and a lower part (120) with an upper part opening (111) and a lower part opening (121) respectively for accommodating a cable (140). An elastic sealing ring (130) is arranged between the upper part and the lower part. The ring is loaded by an inner cone (114) of the upper part and the lower part in a mounted condition of the bushing to squeeze and deform the cable accommodated in a sealing ring opening (131) for forming a force-fit and tight connection between the cable and the sealing ring.
