PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lead re-entrant light to a light collection fiber with priority using the difference of spatial distributions between mirror reflection light and re-entrant light. SOLUTION: A catheter 16 includes a light transmission fiber 18 and a light transmission mirror 60. When light goes out from the light transmission fiber 16 in the axial direction, the light transmission mirror blocks the light to change the direction of the light outward from the radiation direction to the arterial wall 14.
