<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dynamically and properly change a transmission cycle of a control frame (a beacon and a frame for setting a transmission prohibition period) so as to suppress wasteful band compression while guaranteeing the communication quality. <P>SOLUTION: A wireless communication method includes: a step S1 in which an AP acquires allowable-delay information for guaranteeing the quality of the communication traffic in a communication state that an AP or an STA in intermittent receiving operation exists; a step S2 for managing (preparing and updating) a traffic table in which the AP writes the acquired allowable-delay information while letting it correspond to an STA of a traffic counterpart; and a step S3 in which the AP calculates a transmission cycle of a control frame on the basis of the traffic table, the transmission cycle of the control frame is changed to the calculated transmission cycle when the calculated transmission cycle is different from the transmission cycle of the control frame at the time point so as to transmit the control frame to the STA at the changed transmission cycle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
