<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell catalyst in which a catalyst effective area in the fuel cell catalyst is improved. <P>SOLUTION: A cathode electrode 12 for the fuel cell is equipped with a porous conductive carbon plate 70 having a plurality of pores 75, carriers (carbon 71) arranged on inner walls 75A of the pores 75 of the carbon plate 70, platinum catalyst 72 carried by the carbon carrier 71 arranged on the inner walls 75A of the pores 75, and electrolyte supports 73 which are formed in columnar state with the electrolyte and deployed so as to be contacted with the platinum catalyst 72. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
