PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information system, allowing a user to properly perform update necessary for a program. SOLUTION: The relay server device 20 includes: a mismatch detection part for detecting inconsistency of a terminal program by use of information transmitted by the terminal device 30; and a terminal-side transmitting part for transmitting a terminal program or message transmitted by a server device 10 according to the result of detecting the inconsistency, to the terminal device 30. The terminal device 30 includes: a user identification information transmitting part for transmitting user identification information to the relay server device 20; a terminal transmitting part for transmitting terminal version information and terminal program identification information associated with each terminal program to the relay server device 20; and a receiving information processing part for processing the terminal program or message transmitted from the relay server device 20.
