<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system, capable of correctly checking a signal item list for monitoring and controlling a plant and capable of reducing the costs by saving labors. <P>SOLUTION: The system of signal integrity check for plant information control includes: an input means for inputting signal item table data; a storage means for storing the signal item table data and a table; and an item table data processing means which refers to the table and fragments/separates, classifies, and/or summarizes the signal item table data. Then, a means for defining item integrity refers to the table, defines the integrity of signal items, compares the signal items in the signal item list and items whose integrity is defined, and determines description missing and insufficiency, description errors, unpreparedness, and character discrepancy.
