PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interface device capable of communicating with communicating parties and setting conditions with simple operation. SOLUTION: The interface device 200 includes: a character recognition section 220 for extracting character information for identifying a communication means and character information for identifying the communicating party that are included in image data inputted to at least one of an original read section 211 for inputting image data and an interface 212 and inputted to the original read section 211 or the interface 212; and an operation section 230 that includes a display section 231 for displaying the image data inputted to the original read section 211 or the interface 212, and can receive region selection operation by a user to the display section 231.
