PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for supplying pressure compressed air into an air treatment unit at a comparatively fixed flow rate and pressure. SOLUTION: One aspect of an embodiment provides a variable guide vane booster (208) receiving air from a compressor (28) of a gas turbine (20) via an intercooler (204) and supplying air into the air treatment unit (14) at a nearly fixed pressure. One aspect of the embodiment provides a speed-controllable booster turbine (220) for actuating the variable guide vane booster (208) through which air is supplied to the air treatment unit (14) at the nearly fixed pressure.
