<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a membrane separation apparatus in which a membrane module comprising a porous hollow yarn membrane has sufficiently enhanced strength. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the membrane separation apparatus for carrying out the solid-liquid separation by the membrane module 11 having a solid-liquid membrane and immersed in a liquid 20, the membrane module 11 is structured by a hollow yarn membrane assembling sheet formed by arranging a plurality of the porous hollow yarn membranes 12 in parallel and sticking adjacent hollow yarn membranes to each other through the whole length to form a sheet.
