PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tension control device satisfying both stable paper transportation and energy saving. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a thermal correcting device (23) for constantly monitoring the output of a tension controller (16). When the value of a tension correction speed is equal to or lower than the value of a minimum speed correction setter (24), a temperature correction order is outputted to a temperature setter (17).
