<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the flexibility of placement in a car interior of a head-up display device capable of forming a video of high resolution by using a laser projector. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The display device is equipped with: a laser projector 1 using a laser beam as a light source and projecting a video formed of an array of a plurality of pixels; a screen 2 on which the video formed by the laser projector 1 is projected; an optical transmitting element 3 transmitting the projected video on the screen 2 as a projection image by a real image or a virtual image; and an optical system enlarging element 4 enlarging the projected image transmitted by the optical system transmitting element 3 and projecting the enlarged image on a transmissive reflecting plate.
