<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of controlling connections for achieving a service for refusing a connection to a connection refusal terminal to which users do not wish any connection in communication having a session control, and to provide a communication system. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The communication system controls a session between first and second terminals to control a connection between the first and second terminals. The method of controlling connections by the communication system includes: a storage step of storing the identification information of the terminal to which the second terminal rejects connections in a storage means; and a session control step of stopping operation for establishing the session between the first and second terminals when the identification information of the first terminal described in a connection request is stored in the storage means in a situation, where the connection request to the second terminal from the first one has been received.
