<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve light extraction efficiency in an organic EL light-emitting device utilizing luminescence of an organic light-emitting layer. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The organic EL light-emitting device 1 has a plurality of light-emitting portions each having an organic light-emitting layer 24 and a light-transmitting substrate 3, the light-emitting portions 2 are arranged on one surface of the substrate 3, and light from the light-emitting portions 2 is extracted from the other surface through the substrate 3. Lenses 4 are arranged on a light extracting surface side of the substrate 3 by corresponding to respective light-emitting portions 2, each lens 4 has an approximately half-ellipse portioned shape wherein mutually-symmetrical points on a peripheral edge of the light-emitting portion 2 are respectively set up to be a first focal point 40a and a second focal point 40b, and each lens 4 has a polygonal shape with sides 41 shared by the adjoining lenses 4. Thus, light from the light-emitting portion 2 is incident to the lens 4 through the substrate 3, and is extracted without reflecting on an emitting surface 42 of the lens 4.
