<p>A power generating apparatus using wave power of the present invention includes a gearbox and a generator and is installed on a buoyant vessel. The power generating apparatus using wave power comprises: a cylindrical part formed on the top of the buoyant vessel in a direction perpendicular to the moving direction of waves; and a guide plate which guides the waves to the cylindrical part. The cylindrical part with an opening to partially open to the exterior thereof comprises a rotation shaft and rotor blades thereinside, wherein the rotor blades rotate around the rotation shaft. The guide plate part includes: a wave blocking plate formed on a surface facing against the moving direction of the waves and blocking the movement of the waves; and a wave upward-guide plate guiding the waves to the cylinder part on the top of the buoyant vessel. Therefore, the present invention implements wave power generation using the horizontal kinetic energy of waves.</p> |
