<p>A method and an apparatus for mapping the constellation are provided. The method includes that: a part of bits of a bit sequence which is waited for mapping are used as the first bit sequence, and every m bits of the first bit sequence is mapped to a constellation point of the constellation according to the order from front to back, and the bit located in the first preset position of every m bits is mapped to the first preset bit of the corresponding constellation point, the bit located in the second preset position of every m bits is mapped to the second preset bit of the corresponding constellation point, the reliability of the first preset bit is higher than that of the second preset bit; the other part of bits of the bit sequence which is waited for mapping are used as the second bit sequence, and every m bits of the second bit sequence is mapped to a constellation point of the constellation according to the order from front to back, and the bit located in the first preset position of every m bits is mapped to the second preset bit of the corresponding constellation point, the bit located in the second preset position of every m bits is mapped to the first preset bit of the corresponding constellation point. The reliability of codeword bits can be maximally balanced.</p> |
