STIFFNESS GENERATION APPATUS USING MAGNETO-RHEOLOGICAL FLUID, CONTROL METHOD AND HAPTIC PROVIDING APPARATUS USING THEREOF

PURPOSE: A rigidity realization device using magneto-rheological fluid capable of miniaturization is provided to supply excellent rigidity by realizing various resistances by inducing viscosity change of the magneto-rheological fluid. CONSTITUTION: A housing(600) includes magneto-rheological fluid. An upper plate(200) is installed on the top of a housing. External force is applied on a top plate. A magnetic field applying unit(300) is moved up and down within the housing. The magnetic field applying unit applies the magnetic field on the magneto-rheological fluid. A containing unit(700) contains the magneto-rheological fluid. Rigidity is realized by the resistance about the external force based on the intensity of the magnetic field.
