<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the usability by enabling a user to immediately obtain a printed matter by making priority printing executed when image data to be printed are displayed for preview. <P>SOLUTION: A digital combination machine 1 as one example of the image forming apparatus has the priority printing function for making a specific printing job printed with priority even when there is a waiting printing job. The digital combination machine 1 also has the function whereby the image data read by a reading part (scanner) of itself, image data inputted from computers 2, 3 etc. and stored in an image memory part, image data received by a facsimile 5, or image data and the like received by the Internet is displayed for preview before printed and a finish state can be checked on a screen.
