摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tetragonal garnet type lithium ion conductor being used as a solid electrolyte material in electrochemical devices such as a lithium secondary battery and the like excellent in safety and having high speed lithium ion conductivity, a producing method of the same and a solid electrolyte constituted by a lithium ion conductive oxide. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The lithium ion conductive oxide is characterized by comprising a compound whose main structural elements are lithium, lanthanum and oxygen and which contains zirconium and/or hafnium and having a tetragonal garnet type crystal structure.
