<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording apparatus for recording content data while considering user convenience. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The recording apparatus includes: a plurality of tuner sections 101; an input means 116 for receiving operation input; and a write means 118 for writing content data items received from the plurality of tuner sections 101 onto a recording medium simultaneously.When a broadcasting time zone of content data to be recorded is designated by the input means 116, the write means 118 simultaneously writes on the recording medium the content data items of the designated time zone at a higher recording bit rate than a predetermined bit rate.
