A distribution device for a metal casting procedure, having inlet opening(s) (12), outlet openings (14) and a shell-form lower part with a base (6) and side-walls (8), includes an upper part (4) adapted to the lower part so that the parts together form and enclose at least one cavity (10) forming a casting path (18) between the inlet(s) and outlets. At least one casting filter (20) is located in the casting path to filter the molten metal flowing along the path.
