<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge lamp-lighting device which can reliably reduce a noise fed back from a noise source. <P>SOLUTION: A connection member 62 is electrically connected between a grounding part 231 of a lighting circuit 30 and a case body 21 and between the grounding part 231 and a noise shield member 45 of an output power line 44, so that the noise shield member 45 and the case body 21 of an inverter section 20 are electrically connected via the connection member 62. Therefore, a high-frequency component noise such as a re-ignition noise generated at polarity reversal of a current flowing through a discharge lamp 51 as a noise source can be reduced by making short a noise feedback loop. Further, a low-frequency switching noise component having a space as a propagation root and having a DC/DC converter 35 as a noise source can be reduced by covering and shielding an integrated connector 60 integrally equipped with a connector for power source 31 and a connector for power output 36 with the connection member 62. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
