<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit a connecting arm, which connects a vehicle body-side drive portion and an opening/closing member together, from protruding to an indoor side, even when the opening/closing member is closed. <P>SOLUTION: A back door 1 is automatically opened/closed via the connecting arm 11 by an opening/closing drive mechanism 7 which is provided in the roof portion 9 of the vehicle body 3. The connecting arm 11 comprises a driving-side arm 13 which is turned by the opening/closing drive mechanism 7, and a cylindrical driven-side arm 15 which has a leading end mounted on the side of the back door 1. The respective arms are connected to each other in such a manner that a pin 17 provided on the side of the driving-side arm 13 is inserted in a relatively movable state into a slit 19 provided in the driven-side arm 15. A curved portion 15a is provided in the portion, near the back door 1, of the driven-side arm 15. When the back door 1 is fully opened, the curved portion 15a is put into the state of protruding toward a lower indoor side.
