PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of simultaneously cooling a sheet ejection unit and a sheet to be ejected to the outside of the apparatus by using a single cooling fan without increasing the cost. SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus, a toner image transferred onto a sheet in an image forming unit, is heated, pressurized and fixed in a fixing unit by heating and pressurizing, then the sheet with the toner image fixed is ejected to the outside of the apparatus body 100 from a sheet ejection unit. In the image forming apparatus, an air fan (cooling fan) is disposed at one end perpendicular to the sheet ejection direction near the sheet ejection unit, and the air passage of the air fan is composed of a first air passage (A) where the cooling air flowing along the passage cools a sheet passing through the paper ejection unit and a second air passage (B) where a sheet to be ejected to the outside of the apparatus body 100 is cooled, outside the apparatus body 100.
