PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means which enables a computer to accurately and easily recognize a correlation between the photographing position of an object and an image in a camera unit. SOLUTION: The camera unit can adjust the photographing position of the object, and includes a camera head, a position detection part, a position information generation part and a communication part. The camera head performs an exposure operation, images the object, and outputs the data of the image and a timing signal relating to the exposure operation. The position detection part detects the moving amount of the photographing position by the object or the camera head from a reference position. The position information generation part adds position information when detecting the timing signal relating to the exposure operation outputted from the camera head to the data of the image inputted from the camera head on the basis of the output of the position detection part.
