<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable confirmation from the external whether foreign matters adhere on an inner surface of discharge passage of a valve seat member of a lower float type drain trap, and cleaning at appropriate timing. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The lower float type drain trap A has the valve seat member 9 which includes the discharge passage 8 making a valve chamber 4 communicate to an outlet 7 side and which is attached to a valve chamber 4 lower part, is provided with a float 11 seated on and separated from the valve seat member 9 to open and close the discharge passage 8 in the valve chamber 4, has an operation member 14 which can be moved forward and backward from the outside disposed in the discharge passage 8, and cleans the foreign matters adhering on the inner surface of the discharge passage 8 of the valve seat member 9 by moving the operation member 14 forward and backward. An upper float type drain trap B having the valve seat member 29 including the discharge passage 28 making the valve chamber 24 communicate to an outlet 27 side attached at a valve chamber 24 lower part, and provided with the float 31 seated on and separated from the valve seat member 29 to open and close the discharge passage 28 in the valve chamber 24 is disposed above the lower float type drain trap A.
