PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting tool which reduces size of configuration around a rotating axis of a cutting blade. SOLUTION: The cutting tool includes: a drive part 5 for driving a cutting blade 7; a cutting part 4 for rotatably supporting the cutting blade 7; and a transmission mechanism 6 for transmitting the power of the drive part 5 to the cutting blade 7. The transmission mechanism 6 has a first roller 62C and a second roller 63C which sandwich the cutting blade 7 between one side surface and the other side surface of the cutting blade 7. The respective axes of the first roller 62C and the second roller 63C are arranged in almost parallel with the radial direction of the cutting blade 7.
