PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which has a cyclic type noise reduction circuit, and can change a cyclic coefficient according to the number of frames to be averaged on the premise that an averaged video signal is used. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes a signal processing part 106 which branches a signal at first frame rate output by an imaging part 102 into a plurality of signals. In addition, the imaging apparatus includes an averaging circuit 109 which averages a portion or the plurality of branched signals at the first frame rate to generate a signal at second frame rate which is the one of a display part 114. In addition, the imaging apparatus includes an NR circuit A108 and an NR circuit B110 corresponding to the signal at the first frame rate and the signal at the second frame rate to reduce the noise.
