<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data recording apparatus capable of acquiring information displayed in a display screen by simple structure without judging an image itself displayed on the display screen. Ž<P>SOLUTION: On the display screen of the display, a pixel used as an object for detection is specified by a display screen detection means. Further, a luminance signal of a pixel used as a specified object for detection is extracted continuously by a display screen specifying means. This luminance signal judges whether it is in a predetermined setting range. When it is judged that the luminance signal is not in a predetermined setting range, a signal of alarm and the like is generated.
