<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reproduction apparatus or an image pickup apparatus which can perform illuminance adjustment and white balance adjustment suitable for an image in an extracted photographed body region at a time of image pickup or image reproduction. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The image pickup apparatus 1 performs the illuminance adjustment and the white balance adjustment for a cut out image signal used for display of the specified photographed body region based on color information of the specified photographed body region out of color information recorded beforehand. Moreover, the image pickup apparatus cuts out the specified photographed object region from all image signals at a time of the image pickup, and performs the illuminance adjustment and the white balance adjustment of the cut out image signal independently from the all image signals.
