摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrification control method for a thermal head, capable of reducing voltage fluctuation caused by load fluctuation of a thermal head supply electric power source, and capable of reducing a decrease of a printing density, in a thermal printer. SOLUTION: A heating resistor electrification pulse of the thermal head is digitized within a subscanning-directional one pixel time, in the thermal printer, to be generated so that a rush current gets low when starting electrification, and the voltage fluctuation of the thermal head supply electric power source is reduced thereby to conduct printing.
